Actor Drake Bell’s Safe Return: The Miraculous Ending to a Heart-Stopping Search

Actor Drake Bell found safe after being declared missing

Jared Bell, popularly known as “Drake” from the Nickelodeon show “Drake & Josh,” has been confirmed safe after being reported “missing and endangered” by Florida authorities. Daytona Beach Police Department spokesperson Carrie McCallister confirmed that Bell had contacted police and was not in any immediate danger, but did not give any additional information.

According to McCallister, officials are currently in communication and have verified that Mr. Bell is in a secure state. The police department had previously released a statement declaring Bell as “missing and endangered” and sought assistance from the public in locating him. Bell was last spotted around a Daytona Beach high school on Wednesday night before being discovered on Thursday afternoon. There has been no response from the actor’s representatives as of yet.

Beginning his acting career as a juvenile, Bell rose to stardom during his teenage years with the Nickelodeon programs “The Amanda Show” and “Drake & Josh.” He co-starred with Josh Peck on the latter show, which aired from 2004 to 2007 and spawned two films. In the years following, Bell primarily voiced characters in addition to appearing in lesser-known TV shows and films. He also established himself as a musician.

Bell faced charges of child endangerment in 2021, which were related to a teenage girl who had attended his concert in Cleveland in 2017. The girl was 15 at the time and had met him online a few years earlier. He admitted to attempting to endanger the child, which is a felony, as well as to disseminating harmful material to minors, which is a misdemeanor. As a result, he received a sentence of two years’ probation and was required to complete 200 hours of community service in California while serving his probation.
